The new Calibre 388 features a revolutionary tourbillon spinning on three axes, enhancing chronometry with a frequency of 4Hz and integrating a perpetual calendar with a grande date display.

The Duometre Concept, introduced in 2007, revolutionized watchmaking by separating power supplies for timekeeping and complications, ensuring unparalleled accuracy. This innovation paved the way for the Duometre collection, showcasing horological complexity.

The Heliotourbillon Perpetual showcases Jaeger-LeCoultre's eight decades of expertise with a newly developed three-axis tourbillon, creating a mesmerizing spinning top effect. The tourbillon's construction, comprising three titanium cages, each rotating on different axes, ensures precision and weighs less than 0.7 grams. Caliber 388's perpetual calendar automatically adjusts for varying month lengths and leap years, with a unique feature allowing backward or forward time settings without compromising accuracy. The refined dial layout of the Duometre Heliotourbillon Perpetual exhibits symmetry and sophistication, with the tourbillon visible through an open-worked dial and a sapphire crystal case back, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship.

The new Duometre case, inspired by 19th-century savonette pocket watches, features rounded contours and a redesigned crown for enhanced ergonomics. The 44mm case, composed of 34 parts, offers a blend of polished, brushed, and micro-blasted surfaces, reflecting light dynamically.
